I was really excited to see that the challenge this week was a sketch, always nice to have a little something to get those creative juices flowing and even better I was able to implement my new obsession...paper flowers! I have been having so much fun making all sorts of different paper flowers, I will have to do a blog post on them. I also was able to try out faux stitching, so cool and easy...inspired by Tresa Black. I wanted to make a plain note card to send along with a little "just because" gift, so I used this challenge as the perfect opportunity. I used some scraps that I had left over from the Cherry-O Level 2 paper pack, Tulip ribbon & brad, Chocolate cardstock & ink. The photos aren't the greatest as I just took them...need some natural light!

Really pretty card, Sarah!
Thanks Marie!
Hey Sarah, Found your blog from H2H challenges. Glad you decided to become a consultant - good luck :) Congratulations on the birth of Olivia, too. Hope you are well. Great card, BTW - love those flowers.
Great job with that flower, Sarah! Love the papers you chose and the ribbon is really eye-catching! And your daughter is adorable! Thanks for playing along with us at Heart 2 Heart challenges!
This is GORGEOUS! You need to teach me how to make the flowers.
Great card, love the flower. Thanks for sharing with us at H2H.
