Gettin' Sketchy!

I was really excited to see that the challenge this week was a sketch, always nice to have a little something to get those creative juices flowing and even better I was able to implement my new obsession...paper flowers! I have been having so much fun making all sorts of different paper flowers, I will have to do a blog post on them.  I also was able to try out faux stitching, so cool and easy...inspired by Tresa Black.  I wanted to make a plain note card to send along with a little "just because" gift, so I used this challenge as the perfect opportunity.  I used some scraps that I had left over from the Cherry-O Level 2 paper pack, Tulip ribbon & brad, Chocolate cardstock & ink.  The photos aren't the greatest as I just took them...need some natural light!

Level 1 Kits - Simply Beautiful

I am doing everything in my power to not think about the LATE arrival of our little one...so what better to keep myself busy then to do some scrapping?! Today I decided to play around with some Level 1 Paper Pack Kits and boy are they super quick with super cute results! They are great if you are new to scrapbooking or if you don't have a lot of time to put together a layout. With the Level 1 kits, you receive 6 papers and coordinating stickers: 4 - 12x12 Preprinted Pages; 2 - 12x12 B&T Duos (Patterned Paper); 2 - 12x12 Cardstock Sheets and 2 My Stickease Adhesive Sticker Sheets.
I completed this 2 page layout of Tyler at the Skate Park in 15 minutes! YES, 15 minutes!!

I also used a Level 1 kit to create the matted picture of Ema for the H2H Challenge. So start getting your wishlist together for the start of the clearance sale tomorrow!

Tag! You're It!

This is my first time participating in the Heart 2 Heart weekly challenge! Every Monday a new challenge is posted and anyone can participate! The challenge this week is to create something with a tag. I have all of these adorable pictures of Ema that my BFF took at my baby shower that I have been dying to create with! So I came up with an idea that I can give to my cousin as a gift and enter into the weekly challenge! It was fun putting this picture frame together and I incorporated a tag for the title "So Happy!" Ema is so happy dressing up and she couldn't wait to put on her party dress for my baby shower! All products used are from CTMH.
