June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  I am very excited to be joining in for the first time!  We will be featuring June's SOTM, Jubilation, a set of 24 stamps!  If you have come here from Nancy's Blog, you are on the right path!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

This month we have over 50 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs.  So be sure to check out all of their inspiring work.  This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move on to the next one!  I am just loving this stamp set, it is so versatile!  I created two scrapbook layouts, you can click on any of the photos to view them larger.  For the first layout, Bright Eyes, I created scalloped embellishments using the sun and dove stamp; first I stamped the image, punched it out with the 1 1/4 circle punch and mounted it with foam tape on some scraps that I punched with the scallop punch.  I used the Token Alphabet stamp set to create the title.

Here is a close-up of some of the details.

Here is the second layout that I created using the flower stamp from this set.

CTMH Products used: Jubilation June SOTM, Fill in the Blank Stamp Set, Clear Button Assortment, Adornables, 4x6 Flip Flaps, Bitty SparklesPear Ink, Hollyhock Ink, Silver Brad, Sweet Leaf Grosgrain Ribbon, Daydream Paper Pack

Now hop on over to Karen's Blog to see what she created!  Be sure to visit all of the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!  Remember, the June SOTM is only available until June 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant or click here to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even FREE!

Blissful Butterflies

The first impression of the Bliss paper pack is, "Wow that would go great with my wedding photos!"  Yes, it sure will.  I have a friend getting married in just a few short months and she is not only using Bliss for her wedding album but to back her invitations and reply cards; how creative!?  However, I wanted to show that these gorgeous papers are versatile and could be used for other layouts, not just weddings.  The Boston Museum of Science has this really neat Butterfly Garden where there are free flying butterflies that overlooks the Charles River.  Olivia just loved watching the butterflies flying around and wanted so badly to touch and hold these beautiful butteflies!  After seeing the photos, I knew I had the perfect papers to go with them!

Left side of the layout.  Products used; Bliss L2 Paper Pack, Bliss Assortment, Kraft Borders, Mocha Opagues, April SOTM

I also used the Kraft Borders again (I LOVE them!) and added the Mocha Opaques to embellish them (this was a layout that was promised over a month ago!!) I also used the April SOTM and the stamp set that comes with the You & Me kit!! Check it out. I know that the April SOTM is no longer available BUT I have a few extras that you can purchase from me while they last!

January Stamp of the Month

I just finished getting everything together for the crop tomorrow...now all I need is a U-Haul to get it there!  Can't wait to get some scrapping done, catch up with friends, and share all the wonderful things CTMH has going for the new year (and maybe even some new catalogs!!).  Today I decided to create a few cards, not something I normally do but I have been finding myself getting more inspired to create cards and not just scrapbook pages! So, I wanted to post pics of the two cards I created using the awesome new SOTM, Find Your Style, and my leftovers from the Wings WOTG.  More artwork to come!  Did you know that you can get this stamp set at such a great deal this month, for as little as $49.80!!!  Normally, you have to spend $100 to earn the stamp for FREE but this month you don't even need to spend $50!  What a great deal!  I was hoping to get more done but this week got away from me, being sick and you know that adorable little one that takes up most of my time!  But that's what tomorrow is for!!
This card uses the Wings paper pack and ribbon from the WOTG
This card uses papers from the Wings paper pack, new black pleated ribbon, and I embossed the butterfly (thanks to Nicole for borrowing my embossing gun and getting me to pull it out of the stash, I love rediscovering old tools!!)

Hi Friends!  It has been a while since I have been online and blogging but I have good excuses!  Olivia has arrived!  We welcomed her into our lives on August 7th and she is just amazing...i'm so in love with her!  Along with her arrival came a few set backs for me but she is totally worth it!  So I have had to put scrapping on the back burner for a bit as I can't get to my scraproom in the basement.

Welcome to September! It's another exciting month with CTMH, I seriously feel like every month there are so many great promotions and exciting things going on with this company!  The Autumn/Winter 2010 Idea Book is now available AND it is National Stamping Month!  Don't forget about the Stamp of the month too...it's very spooky; Thriller comes with 9 awesome stamps that will complement your scrapbook pages, cards and even holiday decorations...you can check it out on the right side of my blog & my website.

Just wait until you get your hands on the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book with its gorgeous artwork and new products! It is just fabulous, i'm in love with all of the new papers & they have taken one of my FAVORITE products (FLIP FLAPS) & created additional sizes in an assortment pack! I can't wait for them to come in so that I can start creating! The book has so many great ideas and is so inspiring that it will immediately have you pulling out all of your supplies! You can see the Idea Book by clicking on the cover at the right side of my blog.  Check out myCTMH site to view the book & order.
